eBooks, eMagazines, Streaming Videos: Downloading and Viewing Them

Kathy Lindemann, Los Angeles Public Library, will speak to us again. She has a Master of Library Science degree from the Univ. of Arizona and has been with the L.A. Public Library for 10 years. She holds workshops for eBooks and genealogy at her branch and is willing to work one-on-one with patrons and their devices. You don’t have to own a Kindle to read an eBook. There are several eBook formats for PC, Apple and other devices. Public libraries have large collections, as well as eMagazines and streaming videos, but you need a library card and to know how to access them. Feel free to bring your own device and ask questions.
