James Alamillo, Urban Programs Manager Heal the Bay


James Alamillo came to Heal the Bay as an intern back in 1992. Over the years, James has worked on a number of water quality issues, participated in a myriad of outreach programs, and currently manages Heal the Bay’s Healthy Neighborhoods, Healthy Environment Initiative, and Angler Outreach Program. James now focuses on water quality issues in urbanized watersheds. He received his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Economics from the University of California Santa Cruz and his master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of California Los Angeles.
