Getting the Power out of PowerPoint

Bruce Carl Aronson, a Senior I. T. Technical Trainer and a former programmer, has taught computer literacy since the 1970s. Using knowledge gained in 30 years of presentation-making, he will describe seven steps you can take to make your PowerPoint (or similar) presentation thorough, understandable and hopefully inspiring. These principles can be used in Corel Presentations, Open Office and a clone not yet released by Google. In an era when "Death by PowerPoint" is all too common, attendees will learn the very simple secrets that separate the pros from the schmoes in making these presentations. His booklet describing his presentation will be available for purchase for $5.00.

First in the evening: LACS Elections - Nominating Committee Report and introduction of nominees. Additional nominations from the floor and close of nominations. Description of election procedure.

Between 6:00 - 6:50 PM we have a Computer Forum, an informal Q&A where members and visitors share with and help one another.  Notes from past forums.

All attendees are invited to a post-meeting get-together at Dinah's Family Restaurant.
