Microsoft Publisher 2007

LACS Member Russell Ham will demonstrate Microsoft Publisher 2007. Russell has been involved with various aspects of printing and publishing for nearly 50 years, having started in high school. He uses Adobe PageMaker as Editor of a 32-page monthly local Mensa newsletter. A graduate of M.I.T., he worked for a manufacturer of industrial - strength phototypesetting gear which the Wall Street Journal adopted in 1985. Later, he managed a group that developed graphical advertisement layout software for newspapers and consulted for a firm that makes composition software for telephone book yellow pages. He has some strong opinions about publishing software in general and has the background to enlighten us and help us evaluate MS Publisher 2007.

Between 6:00 - 6:50 PM we have a Computer Forum, an informal Q&A where members and visitors share with and help one another.  Notes from past forums.

All attendees are invited to a post-meeting get-together at Dinah's Family Restaurant.
