Digital Terrorism & Hate

Rick Eaton from the Simon Wiesenthal Center visited us more than 2 years ago to inform us about Hate and Terror on the Internet. A lot has happened since then and Rick has updated his presentation with more focus on how groups like Al Qaeda, Hezbolla, Hamas and the
Ku Klux Klan plus others exploit the Internet to spread their messages of hate, suspicion and fear.

In his work, Rick visits more than 7000 websites/year gathering evidence of the threats posed by these notorious groups and others. He’ll share much of that information with us.

Rick has testified numerous times before Congress and provided briefings on the results of his research and from his work undercover with federal and local law-enforcement agencies.
