Basics
Some people have asked questions about setting up their own home network or a small office network. A good understanding of what is needed and how to use it is essential. LACS member Steve Strate and an instructor at Santa Monica Emeritus College, LACS Presidrnt Charlie Semple with help from LACS Board member Jim McKnight, and perhaps others, will keep it simple and increase your knowledge (and confidence). We expect to clarify terminology
and what various devices do in a network. This is your chance to ask questions.
