Our general meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at Fellowship Hall.  Our next meeting will be:

 Tuesday November 11 Meeting

"Backing Up Your Hard Drive and Avoiding Identity Fraud"

Gene and Linda Barlow return to show us more about managing our hard drives and the information on them.

Do you realize how much we depend on our hard drives? All of the operating system modules and application programs that make our computers function are stored there along with our precious work files, digital photos and other data. When things go wrong we can't afford to lose those. Recovering (IF that is possible) may take weeks or months. Gene Barlow will show us how to protect ourselves from such loss with a well-thought out backup plan. There are several options. Gene will help us decide which best suits our needs.

Identity theft and fraud are other problems we face. Gene will also show us tools from White Canyon software to properly eradicate files instead of just deleting them.

Open to the public. - - - - - - - Come and learn with us.

NOTE: The usual "computer forums" for beginners and advanced users start at 6:00 PM
