Rod & David Return to LACS

Tuesday, October 10, 2000, 7 P.M.
Fellowship Hall
8065 Emerson Avenue, Westchester

A return visit by our friendly "gurus", Rod Ream and David Jung. Some explanations of high-speed Internet access, Cable Modems, DSL, Firewalls, hubs, routers, switches and a lot of other terms we hear more and more often without understanding AND were afraid to ask.

FEAR no more. Rod and David talk our language, not the jargon of so many "techies". Ask your questions, they're probably the same questions most of us are thinking about and too timid to ask.

Rod and David will do some comparing of Win 95 Win 98 and Win ME.  You'll be interested to hear their impressions. They're both pretty flexible and can often answer some of your questions from "left field" BUT it will help a lot if you send your questions to me by OCT. 1 so I can send them along to Rod and David in advance. (do you suppose that advance questions may get first attention ?)

You've seen and heard Rod and David before. They both are professional computer consultants and software developers. These are 2 of the most knowledgeable and understandable speakers we've had. It will be an interesting and information filled evening.  They 'll probably bring some of their programs along for sale too.

Bring some friends.
