OCTOBER 8 General Meeting

Los Angeles Computer Society October General Meeting
7 P. M. Tuesday, Oct 8, 2002,
Fellowship Hall, 8065 Emerson Ave. Los Angeles 90045

Bruce Fries is a well-known author and presenter in the field of using computers as audio recording tools. His presentation includes demonstrations of "curing" pops, hiss and other annoyances when recording/re-recording and manipulating sound files in various formats such as .WAV, .MP3 etc.

His book: "The MP3 and Internet Audio Handbook"  is widely used as a teaching text and can be seen at: http://www.teamcombooks.com/mp3handbook/

This will be a very interesting meeting and shows us other ways we can use and enjoy our computers.
