Computers for Human Beings: A Story about Ubuntu OS
Nathan Haines, Ubuntu Local Community Council

Nathan Haines, Ubuntu Local Community Council, will speak about the Ubuntu operating system.

As computers become ever more powerful and ubiquitous, one operating system proves flexible enough to adapt to every new advance, but powerful enough to be the first choice. Learn how you can enjoy these benefits with the Ubuntu OS. Nathan Haines is an author, instructor, and computer technician who has been using Linux since 1994. He has contributed to Ubuntu since he discovered it in 2005, and his mission to educate and excite people about Ubuntu [free!] continues with his upcoming book, Beginning Ubuntu Linux for Windows and Mac Users (Spring 2015).
